We’ve rolled out a few key improvements over the past couple of months, most importantly, the new Chat feature. You can now ask follow-up questions in the same thread for a more conversational and context-aware experience. Alongside Chat, we’ve also improved PDF handling, reading and citation workflows, and search to make your experience smoother, faster, and more reliable.

**Reader view UX improvements
**Reader mode now opens source documents instantly in one click, with smoother scrolling and clearer layout for long documents.

**Redesigned search results list
**The search results view has been refreshed for faster scanning and easier navigation.

**PDF display fixed for Chrome users
**PDFs now render reliably across all browsers, including Chrome — no more blank pages or missing documents.

🔧 Improvements & Bug Fixes

Improved AI answers — responses are now more focused, clear, and tailored to your legal query.

Chatbox cursor jump fix — that annoying bug where the chat cursor jumped to the end while typing is now resolved.

PDF generation fix for specific documents — some users experienced errors when exporting certain documents to PDF; this has been fixed.

Fixed document sorting issue — switching between "Date" and "Relevance" views now works as expected when sorting search results.

Mobile improvements — cleaner chat view, sticky nav bar, auto-hide keyboard, and fixed navigation bugs.

Does Anycase save any of our photos? 

No, when you use Image Upload, your documents are processed in the moment to extract insights, but are never stored on our servers.

Once processing is complete, the images are immediately discarded. No copies are kept, no data is retained, and no record of your uploaded documents remains in our system.

How trustworthy and credible is the Anycase database?  Where do the resources come from? 

We don’t just download files and upload them to our database.

Our daily-updated legal corpus is composed entirely of public documents sourced from official government repositories, including:

• Supreme Court eLibrary

• Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)

• National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC)

• Other administrative and statutory sources

We built a robust pipeline to transform disorganized or inaccessible documents into usable legal resources:

• Advanced document processing tools convert messy PDFs and image-only files into readable, searchable text using custom OCR (Optical Character Recognition).

• Cleanup scripts that remove common digitization artifacts such as improper formatting and embedded legal opinions or commentary. We preserve and publish the source text as-is.

• Precision filters ensure we retain only the core legal source text. 

Finally, every document is reviewed by our in-house legal data team, who run a manual quality assurance (QA) check to:

• Verify completeness and accuracy of each entry

• Ensure metadata (e.g. case titles, dates, citations) reflects the official source

• Confirm the digitized text matches the original document faithfully

Anycase will never invent a case or citation—because we intentionally designed it that way.

3. DOLE Department Order No. 40-F-03, 2008, Amendments to Book V IRR – This order streamlines union registration, allows local chapters to gain legal personality via charter certificates, clarifies certification election procedures, and specifies stricter reporting and compliance requirements for labor organizations.

4. En Banc Resolution No. 11-12, 2012 – Clarifies grounds for motions to dismiss, strengthening execution proceedings, and requiring immediate execution of reinstatement orders, even pending appeal.

5. En Banc Resolution No. 14-13, 2013 – Updates the NLRC fee schedule, removes the attestation fee for quitclaims and walk-in settlements, and provides exemptions for indigent litigants, making conciliation and mediation services free of charge.
